Philip Graham Thank you, Bandcamp, and thank you Andrew Jervis and Osunlade for the tip. These two long tracks are filled with infectious, propulsive, melodic, joyous music. If you're curious, wait until the 1:09 minute mark of "Black Renaissance," and if you love the deep looping grove of that bass, then you're in for a magnificent ride. Favorite track: Black Renaissance.

Andrew Jervis One of my all-time favorite albums. Harry (R.I.P.) played the opening keys on the Roy Ayers classic "We Live in Brooklyn" and was musical advisor to Roberta Flack. Black Renaissance is 2 (very long!) tracks of soulful jazz magic. Favorite track: Black Renaissance.

Harry Whitaker is a piano player, producer and arranger who at the age of 26 recorded Black Renaissance "Body, Mind, and Spirit," a holy grail amongst collectors of soul-jazz and rare groove, and an album so rare it's virtually a myth to many.
